Inkjet printers work on the basis of color cartridges. These cartridges are filled with liquid ink. Our inkjet printer uses a print head to spray this ink through thousands of channels on your carrier. Then you have the option to print with dye inks or with pigment inks.

Maintaining the print head
The print head is a high technology ingenious part of the inkjet printer. The nozzles of the print head can be maintained in a few ways. In order to prevent the ink and the print head from drying out, the printer is used frequently under ideal conditions. Since this is not always possible, there are regular cleaning cycles that are performed on the printhead. In some systems, ink is sprayed through the channels resulting in a loss of ink. This avoids wear and tear on the printhead and thus the printer itself for as long as possible. Tasco offers printing solutions where cleanings take place but no ink is wasted. The printhead in Tasco’s solutions is semi-permanent and an easily and inexpensively replaced part of the printer. This gives you excellent print quality at all times and our labeler printers themselves have extremely long life spans.
