Pigment ink

Water ink based on pigment ink provides a very powerful and resistant print. Pigment ink grinds color pigment into fine particles and shores them up in liquid after which the particles are placed on top of the material.

Better resistance

Pigment ink does not dissolve. When the ink dries on the material, the pigment settles into the fibers. Because of this, pigment ink has a higher water resistance. Most molecules in pigment ink are hidden within the pigment particles. As a result, not all molecules are exposed to sunlight so pigment ink has more light resistance

Modest yet colorful

Pigment ink is thicker. This makes it more difficult to make very fine prints. Pigment reacts differently to each coating. The best Tasco materials to print with this highly resistant technology is our matte paper or a PP material.

Perfect for industrial applications

Pigment ink is most often used for applications where legibility, resistance and strength are the main needs. Therefore, we often encounter this technology in industries such as pharmaceuticals, soaps and detergents.
