The Valloy Duoblade Chopin is a compact roll-to-sheet cutting machine for media ranging from 40 to 350 mm in width and with a maximum cutting length of 700 mm. The device is placed inline behind a digital printer or cutter, so that prints are automatically cut with a steel guillotine blade immediately after printing. Thanks to the Panasonic LX101 sensor and an accuracy of ±0.1 mm, the Chopin delivers consistent results at up to 150 sheets per minute, with perfect tension control via the integrated dancer arm.

The Valloy Chopin Sheeter is a professional roll-to-sheet cutting system specifically designed to cut printed media directly after printing in an inline production line with a digital cutter. Thanks to its roll-feed and guillotine cutting technology, the sheeter delivers highly precise sheets, even at high production speeds.
High-Quality Cutting Performance
The Chopin exclusively uses a guillotine cutting blade, ensuring clean and consistent cuts without fraying or deformation. This makes the system particularly suitable for labels, paper, and various films.
Key Cutting Specifications:

Thanks to vacuum fixation, the material remains firmly positioned, preventing curling and wrinkling. The sensor position can be mechanically adjusted with high precision to ensure maximum cutting accuracy and repeatability.
Inline Integration with Printers and Cutters
The Chopin is designed to be connected inline to a digital cutter (such as selected models from the Valloy Duoblade series), allowing material to be automatically cut to length immediately after the printing process using the guillotine blade. Prints are produced first and then instantly and accurately cut, ensuring an efficient and continuous workflow.
An integrated dancer arm (buffer arm) maintains constant web tension and optimal balance between the cutter and the Chopin. This arm compensates for speed variations and prevents web tension or material accumulation, resulting in stable and precise media handling — even at higher production speeds.
It is important to note that inline integration is only possible with the Duoblade MS and NS models. Other models such as WX, SX, NX, etc. do not support this inline configuration.
Also Suitable for Off-Line Use
The Chopin is not limited to inline applications. The unit can also be used off-line as a standalone roll-to-sheet cutting solution. It is equipped with an integrated unwinder, allowing rolls to be processed independently from a printer or cutter.
This makes the Chopin a flexible solution for both integrated production lines and separate finishing operations.
