The Astro L1 is our high-performance color label printer with inkjet technology. It prints at high speed at low printing costs. It is the updated model of the Astro M1C.

Some features of the Astro L1

High speed, up to 18 meters/minute, Formula 1 speed for the Astro L1This fixed printhead technology achieves the phenomenal speed of 18 meters per minute, unmatched in its category. Depending on the desired quality, you can choose between a speed of 304 mm/second or 152 mm/second. This allows you to produce a kilometer roll of labels in less than an hour!

Excellent print quality: 1,600 x 1,600 dpiIn standard mode, the printer delivers a commendable photo quality of 1,600 x 800 dpi. You thus obtain very beautiful labels that will showcase your products and packaging. For the most demanding applications, the photo quality resolution can reach 1,600 x 1,600 dpi.

But the L1 now offers even more possibilities:

Thanks to the new technology, it is possible to interrupt and restart printing without cutting the roll. This allows for:

Printing larger rolls of labels
Connecting the printer to a labeling unit for “print and apply” applications
Inline placement of the printer with a scale
Connecting the printer to a (semi-rotary) die-cutting machine for finishing
…

In short, this printer has more extensive capabilities that allow you to make an investment that can grow with the needs of your business.
