Flood varnish, spot varnish and cold foil for DPR finishing systems
The DPR UV varnish module is a label embellishment solution designed for DPR semi-rotary label finishing systems, including the Aries and Taurus series.
It enables the addition of a premium finish (gloss, matte, selective varnish or cold foil) during the finishing process, without reducing production speed.
A modular and high-performance varnishing solution
The DPR varnish module is integrated in-line with your existing finishing machine and operates in perfect synchronization with the die-cutting and rewinding speed.

Two types of varnishing available
UV Flood Varnish – Full Coverage
Flood varnish applies an even coating across the entire label surface using a flexographic unit with an integrated UV lamp.
Ideal for:
- enhancing gloss or matte appearance
- intensifying colors
- protecting labels against scratches, moisture and wear
UV Spot Varnish & Cold Foil – Selective high-end finishing
The spot varnish module allows targeted application on specific areas such as logos, text or graphic elements.
When combined with the cold foil option, it creates metallic effects with strong visual impact.

- cosmetics, wines & spirits
- luxury products or limited editions
