Primera Catalyst V8e – Industrial laser label printer for extremely durable labels
The Primera Catalyst V8e is an advanced laser label marking system designed for companies that require ultra-resistant, weatherproof and fully customized labels. By combining laser engraving with an integrated X-Y cutting plotter (Digital Die-Cutting), the system produces labels in almost any shape and size—without the use of ink or toner.
How does the technology work?
The Catalyst V8e engraves labels using a powerful laser. The top layer of the label film is removed, revealing the white base layer underneath. This process creates high-contrast, extremely durable labels that are ideal for harsh environments.
Important to know:
- Only black-and-white labels are possible (the laser removes the top layer; color printing is not supported).
- The laser engraves layer by layer, resulting in a wear-resistant and weatherproof finish.
- The integrated X-Y cutting plotter automatically cuts the labels to the required size or contour.
