This digital printing technology is ideal for producing labels and stickers from one copy to several thousand per reference. Label pre-printing is a thing of the past, which automatically means less waste and lower costs. Moreover, you can produce different labels for the same product depending on different factors (local customs, seasonal changes, etc.). This means better promotion of your product and generating more sales. This purely functional tool becomes a real marketing tool. This revolutionary new inkjet technology, unique to the Astro M1C, allows you to print your color labels in-house and on-demand. This means you can respond immediately to your customers’ needs and demands, delivering complete satisfaction at a lower cost. Variable data such as item codes, batch numbers, expiration dates and barcodes are printed at constant speed.
This technology is the ideal compromise between quality and speed for your product labels, from one to thousands of copies. It is the ideal alternative to ordering your labels from a subcontractor, so you don’t have to worry about waste and unnecessary costs. You can also create different labels for the same product depending on factors such as local peculiarities and seasonal changes. Your product will stand out even more and have a positive impact on your sales. A tool that is both functional and marketing friendly.
In standard mode, the printer delivers an already considerable photo quality of 1,600 x 800 dpi. You get great-looking labels that show off your products and packaging to their best advantage. For the most demanding applications, the photo-quality resolution can go up to 1,600 x 1,600 dpi.
Flexibility and user-friendliness
The M1C label printer is extremely user-friendly. Experienced users of thermal transfer or other printers will have no trouble mastering the machine. Just load the rolls and start printing. Creating labels has never been easier. You design them in any office software and press the button.
Labels are always loaded from a roll. You can choose between pre-cut labels (blank and correctly sized) or a continuous roll without pre-cutting, which are formed into labels after printing. The first solution is ideal for standard production areas (limited number of different sizes and materials). Shaping your own prints gives you additional options and more flexibility for producing special labels.
The integrated cutting system is designed to be user-programmed. The actual cutting is done after the print run, after each label or after a set number of labels, at your discretion to optimize your production.
The web-based control panel provides a range of user-friendly and practical operator functions, such as paper loading, printhead cleaning, etc.
